“Beyond Boundaries,” was an extraordinary exhibition, that showcased the remarkable talents of the art collective EDGE. This project brings together a diverse group of artists, each pushing the boundaries of their respective mediums to explore themes of identity, sexuality, spirituality, and the intersection of the physical and digital realms. The exhibition invited viewers to transcend conventional notions and embark on a journey of self-discovery through art.

Anil Ayhan
Based in Berlin and originally from Turkey, Anil Ayhan is not only a talented photographer but also the visionary founder of EDGE Berlin, a creative collective. His expertise lies in recognizing the unique qualities that define individuals and extracting their best potential. Anil’s art focuses on highlighting distinct faces and bodies, uncovering hidden elements within them, and capturing their souls through the lens.

Blue
Hailing from the North of England, Blue is a gender-fluid tattoo artist and maker whose work seeks to create spiritual and gender-affirming markings through organic shapes and lines. Their art challenges conventional norms and explores the depths of self-expression and identity.

Daniel Marin Medina
Daniel Marin Medina, a Colombian-American artist and writer, delves into the complexities of bodies and the blurring of lines between sex, wrestling, BDSM, and brotherhood. His work challenges viewers to consider questions of identity and sexuality by focusing on intricate details of lighting, body language, and gaze.

GORSAD
The Kyiv-based trio of artists, Masha Romaniuk, Ulik Romaniuk, and Vitya Vasyliev, known as Gorsad, specializes in alternative photography and provocative video. Their works primarily revolve around youth, feelings, and emotions, showcasing the peculiarities and oddities of human existence.

Harun
Harun, a Turkish multidisciplinary creative based in Berlin, crafts otherworldly experiences that merge the physical and digital realms. With a keen interest in AI and AR, he invites viewers to witness the convergence of art, technology, and extended reality.

Hatice Keya
Berlin-based visual artist Hatice Keya explores extraterrestrial beings and imaginative creatures through simulations and procedural techniques. Her work challenges conventional notions of life forms and sparks curiosity about the possibilities beyond our planet.

Hēdonē
Dorli, the fashion and costume designer behind Hēdonē, is committed to ethical fashion practices. Her slow fashion brand creates unique pieces, ensuring ethical production while focusing on self-expression.

Lula
Lula Bornhak, a Berlin-based photographer, delves into topics such as gender, queerness, and intimacy. Her work, shot primarily on film and developed and printed by herself, challenges societal norms and celebrates diverse identities.

Mother.Pokes
A multidisciplinary freelance artist, Mother.Pokes explores a wide range of artistic avenues, pushing boundaries and exploring new horizons.

Nakkab
Nakkab is a multidisciplinary artist and tattoo artist whose work spans various mediums, challenging traditional artistic boundaries.

NiKA
As a visual artist, NiKA aims to evoke a variety of emotions in different people through different mediums. Her work reflects on societal issues and the complexities of human consciousness.

Renata
Renata’s works venture into analog film, experimentation in celluloid, and eco-processes, often collaborating with experimental musicians and performers to create unique installations.

Sam
Sam explores the rapidly expanding digital realm, questioning material realities and forging new connections within the digital landscape.

Sed
Sedef, a designer and self-taught hand-poke tattoo artist based in Berlin, experiments with generating new compositions for tattoo motifs, pushing the boundaries of tattoo art.

Shelbi
Shelbi Gross, a mixed media artist originally from Nebraska, combines analog photography, typewriters, and the restoration of midcentury artifacts in their creative endeavors.

Tati Umnova
Tati Umnova, a dancer, performer, and creative from Ukraine, communicates powerful emotions through her movements and actions, touching on everyday life’s relatable topics.

VNCNT 2.0
VNCNT 2.0, a queer trans-masculine performer, singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ, explores multifaceted identity in the context of internet culture, offering a unique and danceable perspective.

“Beyond Boundaries” is a testament to the power of art to challenge norms.
