My Servant’s Master is an immersive experience that deals with the many forms of grief that have permeated our lives. We ask members of the public to slow down and interact with their own grief ‘trail’. In this interdisciplinary exhibition, which wields photography, film, sound and a personal grief booklet, artists invite participants to face their existential condition, through an interactive and guided adventure that allows transformative movement through the many stages of grief in playful and interactive means. My Servant’s Master invites participants to reflect, remember and release feelings of grief with understanding and care. The exhibition is grounded in meditative thinking and non-western healing practices, centering the question, ‘How can we heal together?’ ‘We are Beautiful’ is a collection of 14 photographs that demonstrate the transformative nature of being. Depending on the participant’s choice, in the manual, they can walk through the exhibition as a go.st, a be.st or as unknown. Their choice will allow them to start on either side of the room. The beautiful maze-like nature of the Zemin Art Space offers an ‘Existential Waiting Room’ for this exhibiion, which creates an area of comfort and ease for audience members where they can sit down and answer the questions in the booklet or reflect on their own thoughts. The final installation ‘Death= Beauty’ transforms the Zemin Art Space into a world of color, light and reflection, bringing the existential colorful feelings that live internally and in the sound piece to the walls itself.
